They describe past attacks, rather than a guaranteed capacity or outcome for every future attack. The diagrams on this page are illustrations, not live monitoring.
How do I add Shield to my server?
Choose a Vgarde game server or VPS and add Shield during checkout. If you already have a service, sign in to your dashboard to add Shield. Contact support through your account if you need help selecting the right configuration.
Will I need to install anything or change my IP?
There is no software to install: filtering happens on our network. Game Server Shield protects your existing game server address. VPS Shield includes a dedicated protected IPv4; check the address and routing details for your VPS when enabling it.
My server is already under attack. What should I do?
Sign in to your Vgarde dashboard to add Shield and contact support through your account for help with the incident. If your server is hosted elsewhere, these plans are add-ons for Vgarde services; discuss your requirements with us before moving.
Does filtering use my server’s CPU?
Shield filters traffic before it reaches your server. The filtering itself runs on our network, without an agent installed on your machine. Service-specific settings and the nature of an attack can still affect the overall experience.
Can I cancel the add-on?
Yes. Shield is a monthly add-on with no setup fee and no long-term contract. You can turn it off through your account. Shield-specific Terms & SLA apply.
